By submitting your application and consenting below, you agree that the information contained in your application and any other personal information (e.g. name, telephone number, address, email address, passport ID, identification number, professional, employment and education history and any other CV data, information relating to your status or history as, or relationship with, a government official (if applicable), information relating to your relationship with a director, officer or senior employee of a Credit Suisse client (if applicable),background checks* (including but not limited to references, criminal records checks, credit history/debt collection register information)) provided by you and/or legally obtained about you during the recruitment process and onboarding / internal mobility process, including student databases searches (hereinafter “Personal Data”) will be included in a global talent database and in other related databases (hereinafter “Databases”) either internally or externally hosted by or for Credit Suisse Group AG, Paradeplatz 8, 8001 Zurich, Switzerland and its affiliates and/or subsidiaries (collectively “Credit Suisse”). Your Personal Data may be transferred across national borders to, and accessed and used by Credit Suisse in for example but not limited to the USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Poland, the UK and the jurisdiction where you apply for a position (the addresses of which are available at https://www.credit-suisse.com), in compliance with applicable law, in electronic and/or physical form, for the following purposes: to administrate our events, competitions, scholarships, internship and/or employment opportunities as well as any other recruitment-related initiatives (collectively referred to as “Initiatives”), to confirm references*, verify educational background*, employment history, compensation and any other information submitted by you, source and hire candidates, support the background check or onboarding process and satisfy any recruitment, management reporting, technical and administration requirements and ensure compliance with any procedures, laws and regulations to which Credit Suisse is now or may hereafter become subject, as well as for the purpose of data storage and application testing.
You agree that your Personal Data may be provided to the following persons, to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes specified above and to the extent permissible by law: any partner organizations of Initiatives, including staff and alumni of universities; any of our auditors, legal and/or other professional advisors or any other person under a duty of confidentiality to us; any person to whom we are under an obligation to make disclosure under the requirements of any applicable law or regulations.
You further agree that for these purposes specified above your Personal Data may be held and processed by, and disclosed, in both electronical and physical form, between Credit Suisse and its service providers, including: World Careers Network Plc, 5-7 Bridgeworks, The Crescent, London SW19 8DR, United Kingdom, RMP Enterprise Ltd, Ergon House, Horseferry Rd, London SW1P 2AL, United Kingdom, Kenexa (an IBM company), 1 New Orchard Road, Armonk, NY 10540, United States and cut-e AG, Bellerivestrasse 16, 8008 Zurich.
Credit Suisse uses online technical skill assessment tool as part of the recruiting process. For these purposes, your email address will be transferred to HackerEarth Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which provides online technical skill assessment tools and services to Credit Suisse AG in APAC region (India, Singapore and Hong Kong) and will also be stored or accessed in their HackerEarth Technologies server hosted in Bangalore, India.
Credit Suisse will retain your Personal Data in the Databases subject to any legally required measures or policies that require updating, reconfirmation or deletion. Additionally, for a period of 24 months following your application, we may use your Personal Data to assess your suitability for a particular position or for purposes related to subsequent applications or vacancies, and contact you using the contact details that you have provided or that are stored in these Databases. If you: (i) have any questions about the way that we collect and use your Personal Data; (ii) do not want us to contact you: (iii) no longer wish your Personal Data to be retained; (iv) wish to make a complaint in relation to the use of your Personal Data;, or (v) wish to exercise your potential rights regarding access to the data, rectification, opposition and deletion, please inform us by sending an email to the System Support Group at the following address: email@example.com. We will respond to your request/complaint by the timeframe specified in any applicable law, or otherwise within a reasonable time.
If you are applying for a position in Australia, or if you are a citizen of or domiciled in Australia and your personal information is collected or held in Australia, please note that the Australian Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy at www.credit-suisse.com/au contains details of how you may access and correct your personal data and how you may make a complaint if you believe there has been a breach by us of your privacy.
You further agree that your Personal Data will be held for 24 months from the time it is last updated or reconfirmed in these Databases.
In any event, your Personal Data will be retained by Credit Suisse and/or its agents in accordance with existing practice and applicable law and regulations which may be for longer than 24 months from the date of application or last update/reconfirmation.
In certain jurisdictions, applicable laws may prohibit the collection or retention of certain Personal Data and entitle you to a copy of certain Personal Data held by Credit Suisse, whether in manual records or on computer. Upon submission of a written request for a copy of your Personal Data, Credit Suisse will comply with such request to the extent provided by applicable laws.
It is voluntary for you to provide personal information to Credit Suisse. However, if you do not provide all or part of the information requested by Credit Suisse and/or you do not confirm your consent as indicated below, it may not be possible to process your application.
